Panel on Bridging Theory and Empirical Research in Finance

At our most recent FTG Conference “Bridging Theory and Empirical Research in Finance” (Boston College on June 14-15, 2024), Itay Goldstein, Gregor Matvos, Adriano Rampini, and Toni Whited shared insights on writing good papers, highlighted common mistakes made by authors, and discussed their expectations for referee reports.  This is a must-watch discussion for anyone doing research in finance, whether it is empirical, theoretical, or a mix of both.
